Woodwork

Our woodwork studio is more than ‘just’ a workshop— it’s a community where individuals with disabilities are empowered to hone their skills and express their creativity through woodworking.
The wood is sourced from responsible sources, ensuring that from the selection of materials to the application of non-toxic and child-safe finishes such as vegetable oil, the ecological impact is minimised, while maximizing the durability and beauty of our creations.

Hōhepa wooden toys are intentionally designed to be simple and allow for open-ended play, which fosters imagination, creativity, problem-solving skills, and storytelling abilities in children. These toys provide a sensory-rich play experience that supports the holistic development of children fostering creativity, imagination, and connection to simple natural materials.
Customers enjoy these unique products for generations and if these break, the team can fix them.
