At Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay we offer a wide range of opportunities for people to engage in individual and group cultural activities. People are supported to attend an array of events in the community, as well as special Hawke’s Bay events like Art Deco, Waitangi Day celebrations, Matariki, Hawke’s Bay Arts Festival, and so on.

The rhythmic cycle of the year is very important to us acknowledging and celebrating the seasons with special community festivals.

Through plays, festive meals, dancing, artistic activities, musical presentations, and ceremonies, these celebrations are the focal points of our cultural life and community spirit.
